Studio Ghibli Fest 2023 Reveals Full Lineup of Films

 

GKIDS is preparing to launch this year’s Studio Ghibli Fest, featuring cinema airings of classic anime films every month throughout the year. And for 2023, we get a special premiere treat!

Studio Ghibli Fest 2023 will consist of a full slate of all 10 of Hayao Miyazaki‘s films made at the legendary studio. Starting this month with a 35th anniversary screening of My Neighbor Totoro, each film will also be aired with an exclusive segment from the documentary Ten Years with Hayao Miyazaki.

 

In addition, fans get a bonus treat this year. As previously reported, the stage play SPIRITED AWAY: Live on Stage will be screened in theatres for the first time ever in North America!

  • My Neighbor Totoro (35th Anniversary): March 25-29
  • SPIRITED AWAY: Live on Stage: April 23 & 27
  • Ponyo (15th Anniversary): May 7-8 & 10
  • Kiki’s Delivery Service: June 11-12 & 14
  • Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind: July 9 & 11
  • Castle in the Sky: July 10 & 12
  • Princess Mononoke: August 5-9
  • Porco Rosso: August 20 & 22
  • The Wind Rises (10th Anniversary): August 21 & 23
  • Howl’s Moving Castle: September 23-27
  • Spirited Away: October 28-November 1
