Sound! Euphonium Season 3 Reveals Premiere Date

Back in August 2023 we learned that Sound! Euphonium season 3 will premiere in April 2024. Now we have a concrete date, with the official website revealing plans for an April 7, 2024 debut in Japan. There will be 13 episodes in the season, which will air Sundays at 5:00pm Japan Time on NHK Educational.

Following Kumiko’s third year in high school, Sound! Euphonium season 3 will have Tatsuya Ishihara as director, with Jukki Hanada on series composition and Kazumi Ikeda and Shoko Ikeda handling character designs for the adaptation of Ayano Takeda’s novels.

Crunchyroll streams the first two seasons of the Sound! Euphonium anime and describes the story like so:

Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind. She recollects her experience with Reina at a competition in junior high school.
