Slacker Life is Strange in Mamekichi Mameko NEET no Nichijou Season 2 Teaser

 

You can’t keep a good slacker down, and now a new key visual and a new teaser trailer (below) have been released for the upcoming second season of Mamekichi Mameko NEET no Nichijou (“Mameko Mamekichi’s NEET Everyday Life”), the ongoing TV anime adaptation based on the semi-autobiographical essay manga about a woman who is not in education, employment, or training.

Based on the original work by Mameko Mamekichi, the story of Mamekichi Mameko NEET no Nichijou follows Mameko, a NEET (“Not in Education, Employment, or Training”) young woman who lives with her dog Komachi and her three cats—Tabi, Simba, and Mero. “I’ll do my best…starting tomorrow!” is Mameko’s motto, and her daily life is a little bit normal, a little bit fun and a little bit strange.

 

Mamekichi Mameko NEET no Nichijou is directed by and features series composition by Satoshi Kuwabara and animation production by Tezuka Productions. The first season began broadcasting on Fuji TV in October of 2022 before moving to a new time slot in January of 2023. The new season will broadcast in Japan on Fuji TV on Mondays and Wednesday during the 13:00 time slot beginning on May 17, 2023.
