Beelzebub, the prince of demons, is voiced by Mutsumi Tamura (Hiro Amanokawa in Digimon Ghost Game). The other four main cast members announced are Kazuhiro Yamaji as Rao, Cho as Thief, Satoshi Tsuruoka as General Are, and Nobuo Tobita as General Zeu.

“Akira Toriyama-sensei is an extraordinary legend and the creator of a work that I have loved since I was a child,” Tamura said. “It was like a dream come true for me to know that he was also listening to my voices from the audition. I finally got a real feel for it when I was going through the recording process. The protagonist in SAND LAND is Beelzebub, an evil-looking but pure-hearted demon, and I really enjoyed playing him because every choice he makes is very pleasant. The trust with Rao the human, a friendship-like or master-slave relationship with Thief, the encounters with the other characters and enemies, and the various interactions with those surrounding him are very exciting! There are so many things to see! I want to let many people know how good the devil Beelzebub is in SAND LAND!”
