Run for the Money: The Great Mission Anime Gets Main Visual, VAs & Staff, Premiere Date
Toei Animation announced today that Run for the Money: The Great Mission, a new TV anime series inspired by Fuji TV’s Tosochu (English title: Run for the Money) game show, is set to premiere on April 2, 2023. The anime’s official website has revealed its main visual, cast and staff.

Synopsis:
The time is a future where humans have moved their residence to the moon…. In the lunar colony, a game has become very popular. The name of the game is “Run for the Money.” It is an entertainment survival game in which fugitives are released into a limited area, and if they can escape from the pursuing android “hunters” until the time limit counts down to zero, they can win a large prize. Some dream of getting rich, while others challenge themselves to test their strength in “Run for the Money.”

Souya Tomura: Showtaro Morikubo (Orphen in Sorcerous Stabber Orphen)
– A boy who always goes all out. 17 years old. In order to cure his younger brother Haru’s illness, he works as a courier using his outstanding physical abilities. Dreaming of getting rich, he challenges the entertainment survival game “Run for the Money” and aims for a successful escape.
Haru Tomura: Yumiko Kobayashi (Koshiro Izumi in Digimon Adventure:)
– The intelligent younger brother of Souya. 14 years old. He suffers from lung disease and spends most of his time in bed. He is good at puzzles and solving riddles. He dreams of going to see the blue sea with Souya someday.
Luna Nishinotouin: Marina Inoue (Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan)
– A young lady in search of luck. 17 years old. She grew up wealthy and bored with her life without any problems, so she decides to participate in “Run for the Money” to test her luck. She is an energetic person and is very interested in new things.
Maurice Shoemaker: Ryotaro Okiayu (Kunimitsu Tezuka in The Prince of Tennis)
– The absolute champion of “Run for the Money.” 28 year old. With his superhuman physical abilities and good judgment, he is a super star who has succeeded in escaping many times. He has amassed a huge fortune and boasts of his outstanding popularity. He is the object of Souya’s admiration.
