Rent-a-Girlfriend TV Anime Reveals New Female Neighbor in Season 3 Teaser Trailer

 

The roster of four girls in the Rent-a-Girlfriend TV anime expands to five in the next season of the series that adapts the manga of the same name by Reiji Miyajima. Revealed today in a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season is Mini Yaemori, the neighbor (and a cosplayer!) of Kazuya and Chizuru who learns their secret very early on.

 

The previously released visual for the series was updated to feature Mini, as well as announce her voice actor and show off her character art.

 

 

 

Yu Serizawa (Kaname Arisugawa in TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You) will be voicing Mini Yaemori

 

All of the characters also had their updated season three designs released alongside Mini:

 

The above trailer teased the arc for the third season of Rent-a-Girlfriend with Kazuya saying “Let’s make a move together!” to Chizuru and focusing on scenes that show off some of the production of the film.

Episode director on the previous two seasons, Shinya Une, has been promoted to series director with Kazuomi Koga stepping down from the role. Mitsutaka Hirota returns as the series composer alongside Kanna Hirayama as character designer and Hyadain on music. The animation continues to be produced at TMS Entertainment with Studio Comet cooperating on production.

 

The second season of the Rent-a-Girlfriend TV anime aired from July to September 2022, with the series being streamed right here on Crunchyroll soon after it aired in Japan. The third season will continue to air in TBS/MBS’s Super Animeism programming block when it airs this July. Crunchyroll describes the series as such:

 

A hopeless college student, Kinoshita Kazuya, meets a graceful rental girlfriend, Mizuhara Chizuru, and ends up introducing her as his girlfriend to his family and friends. Time goes on with Kazuya unable to tell the truth, as he’s surrounded by devilish ex-girlfriend Nanami Mami, who keeps coming back to tempt him for some reason, hyper-aggressive provisional girlfriend Sarashina Ruka, who doesn’t know how to take no for an answer, and super shy but diligent and hardworking younger rental girlfriend, Sakurasawa Sumi… beautiful girlfriends of all types! The pub, the beach, hot springs, Christmas, and New Year’s… Having gone through these challenging events, Kazuya’s feelings for Chizuru keep growing stronger. But she reveals a shocking truth that threatens to shake their “relationship” to the very core!
