Rei Nakashima Releases Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Anime Season 2 Opening Theme MV

 

Rei Nakashima, an 18-year-old grand prix winner of the 2022 Flying Dog Audition “Inucon!”‘s voice actor, singer, and singer-songwriter category, has posted a short music video for her debut single song “Surprise.” The song will be featured as the opening theme for the TV anime Sugar Apple Fairy Tale‘s forthcoming second season.

She became interested in anime and singing after watching “Cardcaptor Sakura” as a child. In 2022, she participated in the “Inukon!” audition held by Flying Dog in the voice ctor/singer/singer/songwriter category, and won the grand prix. This spring, she graduated from high school and enters college. She is 18 years old and has a pure singing voice like a fluffy marshmallow and an innocent, unpretentious, natural character. She aims to be an artist who can convey love to many people’s hearts through her music and singing voice and be a part of someone’s happiness. 

 

Her debut single CD “Surprise” is scheduled to be released on July 19. A full version music video of the title song will be included in the first press limited edition’s bonus Blu-ray.

Following the 12-episode first season aired in the winter 2023 season, the second season of the TV anime Sugar Apple Fairy Tale is set to premiere in Japan in July 2023 and will also be simulcast on Crunchyroll. Nao Toyama’s new single song “door,” which will be released on July 26, will be featured as its ending theme.
