Paradox Live THE ANIMATION Drops a Sick New Teaser Trailer

The members of hip hop group Akanyatsura squabble in a tiny Japanese apartment in a scene from the upcoming Paradox Live THE ANIMATION TV anime.

 

It’s time to drops some sick beats, because a new teaser trailer has been revealed for Paradox Live THE ANIMATION, an upcoming TV anime based on the hip hop battle-themed mixed media project created by Avex Pictures and GCREST. The trailer (below) features the rap groups BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez, and Akanyatsura in action.

Paradox Live THE ANIMATION is directed by Naoya Andou and features animation production by PINE JAM. The story of the series follows the contestants in a near-future competition that pits young rap and hip hop artists against each other. Each of these performers bears a piece of “phantometal”—an accessory that reacts with their DNA to create brilliant illusions as they perform.

 

Paradox Live THE ANIMATION is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, and Animax beginning in October of 2023.
