New Ensemble Stars! Animation Project Revealed with Key Visual

A new animation project is on the way for Ensemble Stars!, based on the idol training mobile game of the same name. As revealed during today’s livestream, Ensemble Stars!! Tsuioku Selection ‘ELEMENT’ is a 3DCG work that’s set to make its way to the series’ official YouTube channel starting on April 6.

A pre-screening event is planned for April 2 at the Tokyo Garden Theater, with cast in attendance for a discussion in addition to the showing of all episodes.

 

 

The male idol raising game started its service for iOS and Android in April 2015, and has expanded to various types of projects, such as novels, manga, web radio programs and stage play adaptations. The Ensemble Stars! TV anime premiered on TOKYO MX and other stations in Japan at on July 7, 2019.

 

The Ensemble Stars!! -Road to Show!!- anime film directed by Masakazu Hishida (KING OF PRISM -Shiny Seven Stars-) was released in 113 theaters across Japan on March 4, 2022, then made its sixth place debut with 50 million yen (433,000 USD), which was the highest ranking of the year for a film released in less than 200 theaters as of spring 2022. It also ranked sixth in Filmarks’ first day satisfaction ranking with an average rating of 3.54/5.0 based on 94 reviews.
