Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki’s My Home Hero manga recently had its anime adaptation debut in April of this year, and now the manga has set up a time frame for the start of its climax. According to this year’s 33rd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine, the series will take a month off to “recharge” before returning in this year’s 40th issue on September 4 to kick off the beginning of the end.

The My Home Hero manga launched in Weekly Young Magazine in May 2017, and has been collected in 21 volumes so far.

Crunchyroll streams the anime adaptation both subtitled and dubbed and describes the story:

After killing his daughter’s abusive yakuza boyfriend to save her, ordinary salaryman Tetsuo Tosu becomes embroiled in the dark criminal underworld. The wish for a simple life he and his wife Kasen had for their daughter has been reduced to a wish for survival. Though middle-aged and weak, he’ll put his life on the line using only his wits in order to protect his family.
