Monster Hunters Gather in Giant Beasts of Ars TV Anime Key Visual
A new key visual (below) and seven new cast members have been revealed for Giant Beasts of Ars (known in Japan as Ars no Kyojuu), an upcoming original TV anime about a group of monster hunters who take on giant creatures in a mysterious and magical world. The new cast members include:
Shoukuumi voiced by Akeno Watanabe.
Baban voiced by Takahiro Shimada.
Baban’s Wife voiced by Mai Nakahara.
Klunes voiced by Masaaki Mizunaka.
Gouza voiced by Motomu Kiyokawa.
Guun voiced by Kenji Nomura.
And Kirisu voiced by Kanato Watai.

Giant Beasts of Ars is directed by Akira Oguro and features animation production by ASAHI PRODUCTION. The series will broadcast in Japan on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and Tokyo Broadcasting System networks as part of the “Super Animeism” programming block beginning on January 06, 2023, and it will also stream in the United States via HIDIVE.
HIDIVE describes the story of Giant Beasts of Ars as follows:
The great beasts created the land, but humans stole it. Angered, the beasts began eating humans, who in turn called upon the gods to fight the beasts. In the age of the sword, heroes and mythology, giant beasts are hunted by humans for profit. Jiro, who makes his living hunting beasts, encounters Kuumi, who is being chased by someone, and in that moment decides to save her. As rumors spread regarding humanity and a mysterious experiment, together they seek to discover the world’s secrets.
