Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-

The official Twitter accounts for Japanese talent agency Yu-rin Pro and the Sword Art Online anime announced tonight that voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi had tested positive for COVID-19.

Kobayashi, who is best known as the voice of Subaru in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, also voices Morte in the new Sword Art Online Progressive anime film and has had to drop out of a stage event on December 29 due to being sick. The talk event will still be going ahead.

Yu-rin Pro said on the talent agency’s website that Kobayashi had come down with a fever and sore throat on the evening of December 27. He got a PCR test on the morning of December 28 which returned a positive COVID-19 result. He is currently under treatment by his doctors and his local health center.
