Mo Dao Zu Shi’s Japanese Dub Reveals Cast and Trailer for Final Season Broadcast
After spending some time in seclusion, supernatural fantasy donghua Mo Dao Zu Shi (also known as Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) is ready to show off its cultivation progress to Japanese dub viewers with “Final Season”, revealing a key visual, trailer, additional cast and a January 2023 broadcast today.

Based on the web novel series by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, Mo Dao Zu Shi follows Wei Wuxian, one of many practicioners attempting to cultivate a path to immortality. 13 years after his death, Wei Wuxian — who cultivated the controversial Demonic Path — he is summoned into a new body and met by fellow cultivator Lan Wangji. The two will join forces to solve a mystery that will shed light on Wei Wuxian’s own past.
