Meet Main Cast Members of SPY x FAMILY Musical in Official Trailer
Toho’s official YouTube channel for its stage plays has started streaming a 60-second official trailer for the forthcoming musical adaptation of Tatsuya Endo’s action comedy manga SPY X FAMILY, introducing its main cast members (except Anya) in costume. The roles of Loid, Yor, and Yuri will be played by a double-cast.
Main cast members introduced in the trailer:
- Loid Forger: Win Morisaki (Daito in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One)
- Loid Forger: Hiroki Suzuki (Mikazuki Munechika in the Touken Ranbu stage plays)
- Yor Forger: Fuka Yuzuki (Misa Amane in the Death Note stage play)
- Yor Forger: Mirei Sasaki (idol group Hinatazaka46 member)
- Yuri Briar: Kurumu Okamiya
- Yuri Briar: Tsubasa Takizawa (performance group Enjin member)
- Fiona Frost: Nonoka Yamaguchi
- Franky Franklin: Kento Kiuchi
- Henry Henderson: Souma Suzuki
- Sylvia Sherwood: Manato Asaka
The press conference for “Musical SPY×FAMILY” was held in Tokyo on December 7. As reported, the role of Anya Forger will be decided by audition and the final round of the audition was already held in November. It was reported at the press conference that the role of Anya will be announced before the end of this year.
“Musical SPY x FAMILY” is scheulded to be performed at Imperial Theatre in Tokyo from March 8 to 29, 2023, then at theaters around Japan, including Hyogo Performing Arts Center KOBELCO in Hyogo in April and Hakataza in Fukuoka in May. G2 (Naruto kabuki play) is attached to write the script and lyrics, and serves as ditector. Shuhei Kamimura (Student Council’s Discretion) composes, arranges, and supervises the music. General sales of the tickets will begin on December 24.
