There’s nothing more heart-racing than listening to the latest Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime opening and the Swordsmith Village Arc theme is a straight bop, combining the mighty talent of MAN WITH A MISSION with the sweet sound of milet. The two performers, who paired up for “Kizuna no Kiseki” came together to perform the single for THE FIRST TAKE.

THE FIRST TAKE is a Sony Music Entertainment Japan initiative that, as the name implies, has singers perform their hit songs in just one take in a minimally-styled studio which has the performer sing in, as the video description says “ONE TAKE ONLY, ONE LIFE ONLY.”

You can catch the single each week in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, the latest Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Koyoharu Gotoge at Ufotable with Haruo Sotozaki in the director’s chair. Crunchyroll streams the series each week, describing it as such:

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.

Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
