Love Live Umi VA Suzuko Mimori Releases Cover to Anohana’s Tear Jerking Ending Theme

Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

 

There are very few songs that evoke such a strong reaction out of people but one that never fails to cause tears is Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day ending theme song “Secret Base (Kimi ga Kureta Mono).” As part of the fourth season of the cover song project CrosSing, voice actor Suzuko Mimori, who is best known as the voice of Umi Sonoda in Love Live! School Idol Project, performed the original version of the single.

The CrosSing project was launched in March 2022 to bring the “voices” of artists who are active in various genres, such as voice actors, anime song artists, virtual YouTuber and 2.5D stage play actors, to YouTube and have some fun. 

 

Other performers for the fourth season of the project include Aya Hirano (Haruhi Suzumiya in the Haruhi Suzumiya series), Nanaka Suwa (Kanan Matsuura in Love Live! Sunshine!!), Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) and more. The song they will sing hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.
