Love Live! Sunshine!! Heads Into Their Training Arc With JR Central Collab

The girls of Aqours are on track with a new collaboration this year just in time for Love Live! Sunshine!! fantasy spin-off TV anime Genjutsu no Yohane -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR- with the series announcing that the girls will be teaming up with JR Central for a bunch of train-related fun!

The multi-part collaboration will take over the surrounding Shizuoka prefecture with Hitomi Kubo, Kyotaro and Aimi Suzuki presenting a special Love Live! edition of their radio show K-mix alongside yet-unannounced special guests alongside a talk after the event. JR Numazu Station will be holding a special exhibition inside the station as well as having Aqours broadcast the train announcements. Special events will also be held outside the station in Numazu itself such as receiving a coaster when eating at participating stores in Numazu Port.

 

What’s more, those arriving in the area using the Smart EX service will receive a special sticker featuring one of the Aqours girls and a train run by JR Central, such as the Shinkansen.

A special round-trip tour will be available for the collaboration period which has a round-trip Shinkansen ticket from major cities, the Fuji no Kuni Ieyasu ticket which gives free travel throughout the area for two days, accommodation, an exclusive pass case and even a travel guide with an exclusive visual featuring Aqours in front of the Numazu Station sign in a call back to a photo posted by the voice actors in the early days of the series.

The collaboration between Love Live! Sunshine!! and JR Central starts on March 25 and runs until August 31, 2023. Exclusive goods for the collaboration will also be going on sale at JR stations in the area.
