Little Sister Struggles in Rascal Does Not Dream Theatrical Anime Trailer

With the help of her elder brother's girlfriend, Mai Sakurajima, Kaede Azusagawa studies hard in a scene from the upcoming Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out theatrical anime film.

 

Adolescence is hard enough even without inexplicable occurances like “puberty syndrome”, and now a new preview video (below) and the official theme song performer have been revealed for the upcoming Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out theatrical anime film.

 

The official theme song, entitled “Fukashigi no Karte”, is performed in-character by Kaede Azusagawa (CV: Yurika Kubo). “Fukashigi no Karte” is also the official ending theme for the Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai TV anime.

The original Rascal Does Not Dream light novels are written by Hajime Kamoshida, illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi, and published in Japan by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko Imprint. An English language version is also available from Yen Press.

 

Crunchyroll currently streams the Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai TV anime, and describes the story as follows:

 

Puberty syndrome – Abnormal experiences rumored on the internet to be caused by sensitivity and instability during adolescence. This year, Sakuta Azusagawa, a second-year student at a high school near Enoshima, meets several girls that are experiencing this “puberty syndrome.” For instance, he meets a wild bunny girl in the library. She turns out to be an actress on hiatus, Mai Sakurajima, who is also his senior at the school. For some reason, no one else can see this enchanting girl. How did she become invisible…?

 

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out is directed by Soichi Masui and features animation production by CloverWorks. The film hits theaters in Japan on June 23, 2023.
