LiSA Sings Japanese Theme Song for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Film

Anisong singer LiSA is confirmed to sing “REALiZE,” the theme song for the Japanese dub edition of the upcoming CG animation super hero film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

This is the first time she has sung the Japanese theme song for a Hollywood film. As her new digital single, it will be available on June 14. The sequel to the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is set to be released in Japan on June 16, two weeks after its US release.

“A new Spider-Man film. I am very honored to be entrusted to sing the theme song for the Japanese dub edition of this film, in which my favorite Gwen, the strong and cute Spider-Woman, plays an active role,” LiSA said. “Heroes who have embraced great power, taken on great responsibility, and jumped through time, space, and sometimes even fear. I hope you will enjoy ‘REALiZE’ along with the images of these heroes and their heroic actions in the film.”

A special trailer featuring the song is now streamed.

The jacket art for the song, depicting LiSA in the Spider-Verse world, was specially drawn by an animator involved in the film’s production.
