Theme singer Machico will also be on hand for the opening ceremony, performing a mini-concert before the first pitch goes out.

The game takes place April 20. Starting on the same day, the Koshien History Museum will display uniforms and baseballs signed by Machico and the anime voice cast.

Based on the light novels by Natsume Akatsuki and Masahito Watari, Yujiro Abe (Kaguya-sama: Love is War episode director) directs KONOSUBA: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! at studio Drive (VLAD LOVE) under the supervision of main series director Takaomi Kanasaki, with the return of Makoto Uezu as series composer and Koichi Kikuta as character designer as well. Yen Press publishes the English version of the light novels.

Crunchyroll describes the series:

Then one day, her little sister finds a black kitten in the woods. But this cat isn’t just a new furry friend—she’s the key to awakening a Dark God!
