IDOLiSH7 Concert Film Surpasses 700 Million Yen at Japanese Box Office

 

The male idol-themed multimedia franchise IDOLiSH7 confirmed on June 10 that the cumulative domestic box office gross of its first concert film IDOLiSH 7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD has surpassed 700 million yen (5.02 million USD) in four weeks since its release.

 

 

The 93-minute film was released in 173 theaters across Japan on May 20 and earned 227 million yen (1.64 million USD) on 114,230 admissions, ranking fifth in its opening weekend. Then the film ranked sixth in its second weekend, eighth in its third. In 22 days from May 20 to June 22, the film earned 756,976,682 yen (5,423,051 USD) on 444,353 admissions, becoming the sixth top-grossing Japanese anime film of 2023 so far.

IDOLiSH 7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD is a concert film depicting the stage performances of the franchise’s four idol groups: IDOLiSH7, TRIGGER, Re:vale, and ZOOL.
