Happy Kanako’s Killer Life Manga Gets Live-Action Series

Happy Kanako’s Killer Life, the comedy manga from Toshiya Wakabayashi about an accidental assassin, is getting the live-action treatment.

The live-action TV adaptation will star Non (In This Corner of the World) as Kanako and Taisuke Fujigaya (Kis-My-Ft2) as her mentor Sakurai. The series will debut this winter on DMM TV.

Nishino Kanako sure hates her job, and is only too happy to snag the first new gig that comes her way. She never expected that her interview would be at an agency for contract killers… or that she’d be really, really good at bumping people off!
