Never mess with Giant Robots because they always go back to the maker, for one reason or another! Hokkaido Television Broadcasting reported on May 5 that a 22-year-old male office worker supposedly from Hakodate in Japan’s north has been arrested on suspicion of stealing 47,520 yen (US$350) worth of Mobile Suit Gundam plastic models.

According to police, the man allegedly stole the two Gundam plastic models on May 1 at 2 PM from a bookstore in Hakodate. Shortly after, those same figures were found being resold at second-hand stores around the city, leading to the man being arrested on May 4 due to matching CCTV footage between the two stores.
