SPY x FAMILY’s Anya Liking Peanuts is TikTok Japan’s Top Phrase of 2022
The SPY x FAMILY TV anime took over the world this year and at the forefront was its peanuts-loving pink-haired spy-in-training protagonist Anya Forger. As part of her peaceful takeover of Earth, Anya’s message of liking peanuts was the phrase that resonated with people the most, with “Anya peanuts ga suki” being awarded TikTok Japan’s Phrase of 2022.
TikTok Japan announced its most popular sounds, words and phrases last night, giving the smallest Forger (yes, that includes Bond!) the top spot in the “phrase” category.

Taking out the top “Buzzword of the Year” at TikTok this year was THE SUPER FRUIT’s single “Chiguhagu.” Which saw a dance made from a portion of the song.
