Hiro Mashima will be getting his designs in music stores across Japan as he’s not only drawing the cover to the limited edition of EDENS ZERO‘s opening theme song CD but it was revealed today he’ll be doing the same for ASCA’s ending theme song CD. The staff and cast from the first season of EDENS ZERO return for the second season at J.C. Staff other than the director of the series Yushi Suzuki who passed away before the final episodes of the first season aired. Suzuki is succeeded by Tokyo Ghoul: re director Toshinori Watanabe.

Netflix streamed the first season of the series worldwide, describing EDENS ZERO as such:

It is the year X492, an age in which people freely travel through the universe. Rebecca, a video-creating B-Cuber, visits the robotic world of Granbell and meets a young man with special powers: Shiki, who’s lived his entire life among machines. Soon Shiki is exploring the cosmos with Rebecca, encountering new places, people and things, and making friends along the way.

EDENS ZERO season two is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 1 at 24:55 (effectively, April 2 at 0:55).
