My Hero Academia Season 7 English Dub Starts Tomorrow

The English dub for My Hero Academia’s seventh season will begin streaming on Crunchyroll tomorrow, May 18. This is a couple weeks after the season debuted on May 4.

Crunchyroll also shared the cast and crew. Here are the people lending their voice talents for the English dub: Justin Briner plays Izuku, Luci Christian plays Ochaco, Eric Vale plays Shigaraki, Kyle Hebert plays Agpar, John Swasey plays All For One, Micah Solusod plays Best Jeanist, Lara Woodhull plays young Izuku, Aiden Call plays Biggs, William Ofoegbu plays Ethan, Zeno Robinson plays Hawks, Dave Trosko plays Present Mic, Anthony Bowling plays Skeptic, Larry Brantley plays Spinner, Natalie Van Sistine plays Star and Stripe, Alejandro Saab plays Tsuakuchi, and Sean Letourneau plays Wedge. Tyson Rinehart and Wyatt Baker are listed as supplying extra voices.

Looking at the crew, the dub is being directed by veteran anime director and voice actor Mike McFarland. Zach Bolton is acting as the producer, and the adaptation is being taken care of by Jeramey Kraatz. The engineer is August Cline, and the mixer is Gino Palencia. Nita Lieu is taking care of the translation.

The season was made at BONES, with Naomi Nakayama helming the project as director. Kenji Nagasaki, who’s been the series director, is the Chief Director this time around.

VIZ Media publishes the original My Hero Academia manga by Kohei Horikoshi and gave this description for its first volume:

Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all, gives him a chance to change his destiny…
