Go Behind the Scenes of The Dangers in My Heart TV Anime

 

The Dangers in My Heart TV anime adaptation debuted this past weekend, and the staff is going deeper behind the scenes!

 

Onegai! Ranking Presents Soda TV showcases the creative process of various dramas, anime and other entertainment features in production. Fans vote on which projects they want to see more of, and this new anime series took the popular vote. Today, the hosts will get a look at the script for the show and the animation process, and chat with the director and some of the voice actors.

Based on the manga by Norio Sakurai, The Dangers in My Heart is directed by Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-sanA Couple of Cuckoos) at studio Shin-Ei Animation, with series composition by Jukki Hanada (Bloom Into You), character designs by Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets 2) and music by Kensuke Ushio (Liz and the Blue BirdA Silent Voice).

 

Seven Seas Entertainment, which publishes the manga’s official English version, describes the series as such:

 

Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!
