Former Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku Member Kanon Nanaki Newly Voices Ibuki Niijima in D4DJ
The official website for Bushiroad’s mixed-media franchise D4DJ announced on December 12 that Kanon Nanaki is newly cast as Ibuki Niijima in place of Ami Maeshima.
As reported two weeks ago, Maeshima terminated her contract with Avex Management as of November 30, 2022 and announced that she will take a hiatus from her entertainment activities due to health issues for the time being. She also voiced Aya Maruyama in Bushiroad’s another popular franchise, BanG Dream!, but her replacement has not yet been decided.

Kanon Nanaki is one of the founding members of idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku. After leaving the group in 2010, she has been active as a stage actress mainly. Her well-known characters include Rei Hino / Sailor Mars in the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon musical series (2013-2015), Karin in the Naruto stage play series (2017-2022), Red Blood Cell in the Cells at Work! stage play (2018), and Koharu Yanagi in the Revue Starlight stage plays (2018-2022).
Ibuki Niijima is Nanaki’s second game character following Koharu Yanagi in the Revue Starlight game. She will be in charge of the speaking and singing voices of the character in the smartphone game app D4DJ Groovy Mix from now on. In addition, her voice will be heard in the sections where the character’s voice is not currently used from December 17.
