Dengeki Bunko Unveils Main Visual, Schedule for 30th Anniversary Livestream
It’s the most wonderful time of year for light novel fans, as KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Bunko label today revealed plans for a special livestream to celebrate their 30th anniversary this year, following MF Bunko’s own summer announcement late last month.
A main visual illustrated by Kohaku Kuroboshi (Kino’s Journey, Princess Principal) depicting the publisher’s biggest titles — from Accel World, Durarara, SABIKUI BISCO and Spice and Wolf — was unveiled alongside other key details. Can you identify all fifty characters below?
The livestream event, titled “Dengeki Bunko 30th: Summer Festival Online 2023”, will take place from July 15-16 on the Japanese streaming service ABEMA. Teasing new anime-related details and more, the schedule is as follows (in JST):

Dengeki Bunko’s 30th-anniversary website also highlights the hottest new light novel releases, a countrywide book fair, autograph events with authors and illustrators for twelve unique titles, such as 86 EIGHTY-SIX‘s Asato Asato and Shirabi, and upcoming anime adaptations as part of the months-long celebration.
