Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou TV Anime Reveals October 2023 Premiere, New Teaser, Staff And More Cast

 

Appropriately enough ahead of Mother’s Day in the US and currently underway in Japan, the official site and social media accounts for the forthcoming Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou TV anime have been updated with a new teaser and key visual confirming an October 2023 premiere.

 

 

Alongside the premiere confirmation, additional cast members have also been confirmed, with Takaya Hashi playing the role of Phoenix, a familiar summoned by Viola, with the latter role played by Nana Mizuki. Romi Park joins the series in the role of Lila the tool making blacksmith, while Kana Hanazawa will join the series as the narrator next to previously announced Aoi Koga in the role of Viola’s ‘mother’ Alyssa.

 

 

 

 

Finally, staff has been confirmed in Masahiro Takata as the series director, series composition by Gyro Knuckle, character design by Miwa Yoshida, prop and weapon designs by Risa Arai, color design by Risa Nakamura, art direction by Masaaki Kawaguchi, sound production and effects by Saber Links, sound direction by series director Masahiro Takata, music by myu and animation production by studio A-Real.

Serialized in COMIC Meteor since July 2018, Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou follows Alyssa, a lonesome witch who finds a human baby abandoned in the forest and decides to raise her, naming her Viola. Sixteen years later, Viola’s development as her daughter is far from what she expected.
