Date A Live V TV Anime Splashes Around in Season Five Teaser Trailer, Visual

 

After the fifth season of the popular Date A Live anime adaptation was announced following the broadcast of the last episode of the fourth season, the first teaser trailer and visual for Date A Live V was revealed today alongside the confirmation of a returning staff and cast.

 

 

 

The cast and staff of the franchise, including the original creator, also populated a special signboard to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the franchise.

Jun Nakagawa returns to the series at GEEKTOYS, with Naoto Nakamura also returning as the character designer and Go Sakabe as the music composer. Fumihiko Shimo returns to write the series composition with the cast from the first four seasons returning for Date A Live V. Crunchyroll previously streamed the fourth season as it aired in Japan last year, alongside streaming the first three seasons, describing the series as such:

 

Ordinary high school boy Shido discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through his sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical creatures responsible for the spacequakes. Shido is recruited to help “seal” the sprits and end their threat to mankind. There’s just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit—is to make her fall in love with you.
