Cuddle Up with Howl’s Stuffed Animals from Howl’s Moving Castle

Studio Ghibli likes to bring out adorable merchandise relating to its movies, and this time around they are offering up something a little more on the obscure side. Instead of offering plushies of more well-known Ghibli creations like Totoro or Catbus, they’ve made plushies of two stuffed animals you only briefly see in Howl’s Moving Castle. The stuffed animals in question belong to Howl and you can see them when he’s in bed.

These plushies were released in the past as limited editions and quickly sold out. That could have been the end of it, but Donguri Kyowakoku, the company behind official Studio Ghibli merchandise, is releasing them again. However, this is also a limited edition run, and there’s no guarantee that there will ever be a third limited edition offering.

They first became available on May 12 and will be around till they sell out. If you’re interested, you can get them online here. They can only be bought as a pair, and they cost 7,700 yen, which is about $57.14.

GKIDS has licensed Howl’s Moving Castle in America and gave this description for it:
