Charade Maniacs Otome Visual Novel Hits Switch in the West This Summer

 

Love is in the air, and as such it’s a great time to look ahead to one of the latest otome games on the way to the west. Idea Factory International announced plans to bring the Charade Maniacs visual novel to Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe this summer, with both a physical and digital release planned along with a limited edition.

Charade Maniacs first launched on PS Vita in Japan back in August 2018, with a Switch port following in September 2021. Check out the announcement trailer:

 

 

Here’s how Idea Factory International describes it:

 

Take on the role of Hiyori Sena, a high school sophomore who has been abducted by a masked figure. Trapped in the mysterious world of Arcadia with nine others, she is forced by her captor to act in dramas alongside the other abductees. To make matters worse, there’s a traitor among the costars! Love blooms on and off stage in this dramatic search for truth and romance. Who can you trust?
