Here’s how the eShop sums it up:

The game features a story mode that recreates the classic storyline portrayed in the animation, as well as a free mode that allows players to use Joy-Con™ swing controls to play against each other.

In addition, there are mini-games to experience the gimmicky putting practice.

Let’s experience the world of BIRDIE WING more deeply through the visual game.”

Following the well-received first season in the spring 2022, the highly-anticipated second season of the TV anime BIRDIE WING -Golf Girls’ Story- is set to premiere in Japan on April 7, 2023, and will also be simulcast on Crunchyroll for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS .

Crunchyroll describes the anime like so:

Fore! After Eve’s first meet up with Aoi on the grass left her in defeat, she’s had her eyes set on a rematch to return the favor. Both these up and coming golfers are highly skilled, highly unique and most of all, highly competitive. With dreams of making it pro, a rivalry is getting in full swing as they both battle it out in the biggest tournaments.
