Ayakashi Triangle TV Anime Gets Postponed From Episode Five Due to COVID-19

Ayakashi Triangle

The wave of COVID-19 anime delays continues today with the announcement of the Ayakashi Triangle TV anime adaptation going on hiatus after the airing of episode four on January 30. The official Twitter account and website for the series will reveal when the fifth episode is scheduled to air when it has been decided.

Ayakashi Triangle TV anime’s official website states that the delay is due to the spread of COVID-19 causing issues with the production of the series. The first four episodes are scheduled to be rebroadcast in place of new episodes. This delay has also caused a delay in the release of the first Blu-ray volume, which has moved its release from March 29 to September 27 with a knock-on effect for the rest of the volumes.

Episodes three and four of Ayakashi Triangle are still scheduled to air on January 23 and January 30 respectively. The series, based on the manga of the same name by Kentaro Yabuki, is directed by Noriaki Akitaya (The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest) and assistant-directed by Kei Umabiki at studio CONNECT. Crunchyroll streams the series as it airs in Japan, describing it as such:

Matsuri Kazamaki is an exorcist ninja who exorcises evil spirits called ayakashi. His childhood friend, Suzu Kanade, tends to attract ayakashi, so he secretly protects her from them. But now Suzu has caught the eye of Shirogane, an ayakashi who looks like a cat but rules over all ayakashi as their king!
