The team has now confirmed an official shutdown date for the original service of June 5, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. PDT, when the servers and smartphone apps for the original Trading Card Game Online will be shutdown and removed from their respective app stores.

Following the shutdown, the newly updated Pokémon TCG Live game will officially launch on June 8, 2023 and exit the ongoing closed beta, with current beta players who log in to Pokémon TCG Live between May 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. PDT through June 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m receiving gifts that include a unique global beta coin, deck box and card sleeves in-game.

The development team is also stressing that any existing players who have yet to migrate their original Trading Card Game Online accounts to the new TCG Live platform can do so without an immediate worry of losing them when the old service shuts down early next month, but emphasizes that if any changes are made regarding account migration, they will be communicated as soon as possible.
