Aimer Sings Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc Opening Theme in Kohaku

 

 

Japan’s national broadcasting station NHK has announced the songs to be performed in its annual New Year’s Eve special live-broadcasting program, Kohaku Uta Gassen, including “Zankyo Sanka” (TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc opening theme) by Aimer. This will be her first appearance in Japan’s highest-rating music program in her 11-year career.

She also sings “Omokage” (Remnant), along with milet and Lilas Ikuta in the program’s special segment. The song was produced by Vaundy as a collaboration project for the THE FIRST TAKE YouTube channel. It is rare for one singer to sing more than one song on Kohaku.
