Adventure Unfolds in The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World TV Anime Promo
A dramatic new preview video, new cast member and the Japanese TV schedule have all been revealed for The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World (known in Japan as Seikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki), an upcoming TV anime based on the series of isekai fantasy light novels written by Kiichi Kosuzu and illustrated by Shiso and Kihiro Yuzuki about a powerful spiritualist who is transported to a different world and starts a new life there.

The original The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World light novels are published in Japan by Futabasha under their M Novels imprint. Crunchyroll describes the story of the series as follows:
You can’t be happy if you’re just strong, even if you’re the strongest exorcist in the world. Exorcist Haruyoshi Kuga, called an unrivaled genius, is betrayed by the Imperial Court and about to die. Resolving to be happy in his next life, he uses a secret reincarnation technique he created and reincarnates in another world. And so he receives a new name, Seika, and a new life.
“What I lacked in my previous life was cunning. In this life, I’ll be more calculating and find happiness.” With the strongest exorcist techniques and strong demons working with him, what lies ahead for him? The peaceful life he wants, or…. This is the start of a story no one’s ever seen before: the story of the strongest exorcist in a fantasy world.
The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World TV anime is directed by Ryosuke Shibuya and Nobuyoshi Nagayama and features animation production by Studio Blanc. The series will stream on Crunchyroll as part of the winter 2023 anime simulcast lineup, and it will also broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:
- TOKYO MX: every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on January 07, 2023.
- BS11: every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on January 07, 2023.
- AT-X: every Saturday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on January 07, 2023.
Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming for the previous day, so for example the 25:30 time slot on Saturday evening is actually on Sunday morning at 1:30am JST.
