Symphogear XV Anime Collabs With Japan’s Don Quijote General Store

Japan’s Don Quijote retail chain has announced a new tie-up with the Symphogear franchise that sees the retailer selling newly illustrated merchandise to celebrate the most recent entry in the long-running singing idol battle franchise, Symphogear XV. The merchandise sees the girls donning their best 1001 Nights cosplay and will span life-size tapestries, smaller prints, acrylic stands and more. The merchandise will be sold in all Don Quijote retail locations throughout Japan starting later this month on the 25th.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Symphogear franchise (they punch through mountains while singing!), Crunchyroll describes Symphogear XV below:

Noriyasu Agematsu, of music production group Elements Garden, along with Akifumi Kaneko, designer of many famous RPGs and other games, are back for a third installment of the original TV animation. Its emotional and highly original battle scenes, where the characters sing as they fight, are back and better than ever, making the story even more dramatic. This time, the heroine, Hibiki Tachibana, and the other five Symphogear Weilders are faced with their largest and toughest foe yet: a mysterious group of warriors.
