Tsurune: The Linking Shot

After shooting their shot in Japanese theaters earlier in the year with a compilation of the first TV anime season, the Tsurune TV anime adaptation returns for Tsurune: The Linking Shot on January 4 and to get fans pulling at their bowstring, a brand new trailer has been released for the Kyoto Animation-produced series.

Takuya Yamamura, who directed the first season of Tsurune and the film, returns for the second at Kyoto Animation, alongside the returning two main cast members of Yuto Uemura as Minato Narumiya and Kensho Ono as Shu Fujiwara and the addition of Jun Fukuyama to the series as Eisuke Nikaido.

HIDIVE will be streaming the second season in English-speaking countries as it airs. Crunchyroll streamed the first season of Tsurune as it aired in Japan from October 22, 2018, to January 21, 2019, who describes the series as such:

When Narumiya Minato joins Prefectural Kazemai High School, he is quickly invited to join the archery club by the club’s advisor, Tommy-sensei. His childhood friends Takehaya Seiya and Yamanouchi Ryohei swiftly agree to join, but Minato is hesitant at first. Because Minato is the rare student with experience in archery, Tommy-sensei orders him to give a demonstration, which Minato does… except his arrow doesn’t hit the target. It is revealed that Minato has developed a terrible dysfunction regarding archery.
