Hot off the heels of the second season of the live-action Alice in Borderland series, another of Haro Aso’s manga is getting the adaptation treatment. Viz Media revealed today that Aso’s Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead comedy horror manga, which is illustrated by Kotaro Takata, will be getting a TV anime series this July. The first trailer was released revealing the lead staff and voice actor for lead Akira Tendo.

The trailer features the voice work of Shuichiro Umeda (Izumi in Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) as down-on-his-luck salaryman Akira Tendo who welcomes the zombie outbreak.

 

Kazuki Kawagoe (Komi Can’t Communicate) will be directing Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead at BUG FILMS with Hanako Ueda (Summer Time Rendering) assistant directing, Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) writing the series composition, Kii Tanaka (So I’m a Spider, So What?) adapting the character designs for animation and Junpei Fukuchi (Summer Time Rendering) designing the zombies. Music is being composed by Makoto Miyazaki (SPY x FAMILY) with music selection from Maiko Gouda (Chainsaw Man) and sound production at dugout.

Viz Media has licensed Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead for English-speaking audiences with the North American stream to occur on Hulu and internationally to be announced at a later time. The official website introduces the series as such:
