Touhou: New World Brings Cute Bullet Hell Action to the West This Summer
XSEED Games announced it will bring over Touhou: New World to PC and Nintendo Switch digitally to western audiences this summer. The game is set to release in Japan on July 13 for both platforms. It will also arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 at a later date.

Touhou: New World sees players return to Gensokyo, a supernatural world where both humans and spirits live. One day, an outsider breaches the world’s protective barrier and wreaks chaos. Both shrine maiden Reimu and her magician friend Marisa set out on an adventure to find the true source of the chaos and restore peace.

Touhou: New World is a 3D bullet hell action game where players must dodge projectiles while taking down enemies. Both Reimu and Marisa can be customized to suit different playstyles and level up their skills. Additionally, every piece of equipment found has randomized stats so players are encouraged to mix and match to see what works best for them.
