While Tokyo Manji Gang might be opening a fist full of presents in the Christmas Showdown Arc of the Tokyo Revengers TV anime right now, they’ve decided to take a detour this March to take over Tokyo Tower–though, they are nice enough to give back the landmark in April!

The “Ola! Gather around, asswipes! Let the Red Tower rally begin!” will see Tokyo Tower hold a stamp rally throughout the tower with special announcements from Takemichi and Chifuyu ringing out through speakers. A display will be outside the entrance of the lower floors with a decal wrapping on the observation deck.

The Tokyo Revengers x Tokyo Tower collaboration starts on March 24 and runs until April 24, giving those who visit the landmark a month-long celebration of the popular anime and manga series.

The first season of the TV anime adaptation of Tokyo Revengers streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired from April to September 2021. The second season, dubbed Tokyo Revengers Christmas Showdown Arc, is streaming worldwide on Disney+ services from January. Crunchyroll describes the series as such:

Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that’s reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had in his life that he dated in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he’s standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he’s about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he’s back living the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge on his life by saving his girlfriend and changing himself that he’d been running away from.
