Tokyo Revengers 2 Live-Action Film’s 2nd Part Releases Full Trailer

 

Following the theatrical release of the first part -Unmei- (-Fate-) last weekend, the official website for the Tokyo Revengers 2 live-action film series posted a 90-second full trailer for its forthcoming second part Chi no Valentine-hen -Kessen- (Bloody Halloween Arc -Decisive Battle-).

 

Also, the theme song “Hakanakunai” (Not Ephemeral), newly written/performed by four-member Japanese rock band SUPER BEAVER for the second part, was revealed for the first time in this clip. The band previously provided the first part’s theme song “Gradation.”

The first live-action film adaptation of Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga was released in Japan on July 9, 2021, and earned 4.38 billion yen (31 million USD) to become the highest-grossing Japanese live-action film of the year.

 

Following the great box office success, production of its two-part sequel based on the manga’s “Bloody Halloween” arc was announced in November 2022, with the first part Tokyo Revengers 2 Chi no Valentine-hen -Unmei- (“Bloody Halloween Arc -Fate-“) releasing on April 21, 2023, ranking second with 583 million yen (4.35 million USD) in its first weekend.

 

The second part that depicts the final battle between the two forces, Tokyo Revengers 2 Chi no Valentine-hen -Kessen- (“Bloody Halloween Arc -Decisive Battle-“) is set to release in Japan on June 30.
