The Vampire Dies in No Time

Even the mightly Draluc needs a rest sometimes. (Well, maybe more than “sometimes.”)

Itaru Bonnoki has announced that his gag manga The Vampire Dies in No Time will be going on an indefinite hiatus. The news was officially announced today on the manga’s official Twitter account:

The manga, which runs in Weekly Shonen Champion, is pausing to allow Bonnoki to rest for “a certain period of time.” There’s no estimate for how long this hiatus will run, but its eventual return will be announced in the magazine when the time comes. Bonnoki also apologized to fans who look forward to new chapters, and hopes they will continue to cheer the manga on in future.

The Vampire Dies in No Time anime is directed by Hiroshi Koujina (Hunter x Hunter) at studio MADHOUSE, starring Makoto Furukawa (Shirogane in Kaguya-sama: Love is War) as Ronaldo and Jun Fukuyama (Matsumoto in Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) as Draluc.

Legendary vampire hunter Ronaldo finds an unlikely (and unwilling) ally in Draluc, the world’s weakest vampire who turns to dust at the slightest attack. Together they’re in for more hilarious misadventures than you can shake a stake at, including enemy vampires, axe-wielding editors, and other pains in the neck.
