The slate of events that will go live on the site will consist of a brand new short story written by author Fuse that will launch the anniversary site titled “How to spend a vacation” on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō web novel publishing platform, with a companion manga adaptation being done by Yuzo Takada of 3X3 Eyes fame that will also be serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius in the future.

The second major development is that the Coleus’ Dream side story featured in the bonus booklet included with the second season’s Blu-Ray release will be turned into a 3-part OVA that will be released in Fall of 2023 with longtime franchise collaborator Takuma Terashima providing opening themes.

The third and fourth developments center around the latest sales milestone for the book series with 35 million copies sold in Japan and 5 million copies sold overseas, marking a cumulative milestone of 40 million copies. More details will be revealed in the future on how the milestone will be celebrated. Related to the sales milestone, a new large-scale physical event is also in the planning stages for the Reincarnated as a Slime franchise with more specific details promised in the future.

Finally, a stage play adaptation of the franchise has also been announced and confirmed for its first performances in August of this year, and an official website along with social channels have also been launched with more information to be released.
