TenPuru TV Anime Forsakes Worldly Desires on July 8

With an angry and almost tearful expression on her face, heroine Yuzuki Aoba delivers a powerful palm-strike in a scene from the upcoming TenPuru -No One Can Live on Loneliness- TV anime.

 

It’s hard to conquer worldly desires in an environment of constant temptation, and now a new key visual, a new preview video, and the Japanese broadcast details have been revealed for TenPuru -No One Can Live on Loneliness-, an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy manga about a would-be monk taking up residence in a temple full of beautiful young ladies.

 

The series will stream on Crunchyroll and broadcast in Japan as follows:

 

  • TOKYO MX: every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on July 08, 2023.
  • BS11: every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on July 08, 2023.
  • Mainichi Broadcasting System: every Saturday during the 27:08 time slot beginning on July 08, 2023.
  • AT-X: every Sunday during the 22:00 time slot beginning on July 09, 2023.
  • BS NTV: every Friday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on July 14, 2023.

 

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming for the previous day, so for example the 25:30 time slot on Saturday evening is actually on Sunday morning at 1:30am JST.

TenPuru -No One Can Live on Loneliness- is based on the manga series by Kimitake Yoshioka. Kazuomi Koga (Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible, GANBARE DOUKICHAN) will direct the series at studio Gekkou, with series composition by Yohei Kashii (Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!) and character designs by Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets).

“I know! I’ll become a monk!” Akagami Akemitsu has spent his days and nights absorbed in studying and part-time work in an effort to distance himself from his family, which is notorious as a household of philanderers. One day, he falls in love at first sight with a girl named Aoba Yuzuki, and suddenly he’s constantly drowning in worldly desires. Hoping to fight back against his genes and live a more stoic life, he enters a temple… only to find out that it’s a convent filled with gorgeous girls! So begins a new rom-com about the temple life of three adorable triplets and two beautiful freeloaders!
