Sweet Reincarnation TV Anime Dishes Out Eye Candy in First Trailer
We hope you’re leaving plenty of room for dessert after the Spring 2023 anime season concludes, as Sweet Reincarnation will be plating up more isekai goodness in July 2023. The first course was served today in the form of a trailer, topped with five additional cast members.

The newly announced additional cast is as follows:
- Casserole voiced by Hiroshi Tsuchida (Grisha in Attack on Titan)
- Josephine voiced by Rumi Okubo (Tania in Beast Tamer)
- Sheets voiced by Yu Wakabayashi
- Petra voiced by Kaya Okuno (Filimøs in So I’m a Spider, So What?)
- Square voiced by Wataru Kato (Jun in Aoashi)

Based on the light novels by Nozomu Koryu and Yasuyuki Syuri, Sweet Reincarnation is being directed by Naoyuki Kuzuya (Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire) at studio SynergySP, with series composition by Mitsutaka Hirota, character designs by Tomoko Miyakawa and music by Hiroshi Nakamura.
J-Novel Club, which publishes the official English version of Iida Seriko and Midori Tomizawa’s manga adaptation, describes the first volume as such:
Pastry Mille Morteln, age 9, is both his father’s heir and the reincarnation of an unfulfilled pastry chef. While he dreams of a land filled with sweet treats, there’s a lot to be done first!
