Soma Saito Joins the Cast of Undead Murder Farce TV Anime as Jack the Ripper

The continuing rollout of characters for the upcoming Undead Murder Farce TV anime carries on today with the announcement that Soma Saito (Yuno in Black Clover) will be joining the cast as Jack the Ripper, a man who at 15 years old committed the perfect crime and is now being asked by the Criminal Mastermind to join him.

Mamoru Hatakeyama (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?) directs Undead Murder Farce at Lapintrack with scripts written by Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!), character designs drawn by Noriko Ito (Yuri!!! On Ice) and Naho Kozono (Golden Kamuy) and music from Yuma Yamaguchi (Project X Zone 2). The series premieres this July and is described as such:

 

The 19th century — a world inhabited by vampires, golems, werewolves and other paranormal creatures. Immortal beauty and disembodied head Aya Rindo, along with half-human-half-demon “Demon Killer” Tsugaru Shunichi and her loyal maid Shizuku Hasei, travels through Europe as supernatural detective “The Cage User,” solving supernatural mysteries while she searches for her lost body.
