Singer-Songwriter Chinatsu Matsumoto Drops A Galaxy Next Door Anime Opening Theme MV

 

 

Japanese singer-songwriter Chinatsu Matsumoto has released a music video for her latest digital single song “Tonariawase” (Side by side) on her official YouTube chgannel. The refreshing song is now featured as the opening theme for the spring 2023 TV anime A Galaxy Next Door.

 

Chinatsu Matsumoto was born in Tokyo in 1998, and made her major debut with her first digital single “Utatte” (Sing it) in 2021. Her official website introduces her as: “She writes the lyrics that are simple and straightforward, expressing the events the people face in their daily lives and the real feelings they have at that time. She has a fragile yet powerful voice that captures people’s hearts.”

 

“Tonariawase” is her first anime theme song work. She said, “I read the original manga and I filled this song with the way you fall more and more in love without realizing it, and the straight, cute feelings you have for the person you love, thinking that the time you spend with them will last forever, tomorrow and beyond. I hope that my music will also make you feel warm and happy.”

The TV anime adaptation of Gido Amagakure’s romantic comedy manga A Galaxy Next Door premiered in Japan on April 9 and its first episode “Crunch Time with the Princess” is now available for Crunchyroll Premium members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

Synopsis:
